Recipe – Auntie Rose Pot Roast and Pasta

 

Ingredients:

Pot Roast
1 White onion
2 Garlic
16 oz. Homestead pasta Sunday Gravy (no substitutions!)
16 oz. Tomato paste
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. Fresh parsley
Carrots
1 Pkg dried porcini
Pasta

Directions:

Roll meat in flour, salt and pepper. Chop Garlic and Parsley.

Brown meat it oil. Add onion, garlic, and parsley and sauté.

Add Homestead Sunday Gravy, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.

Cover and cook for 3 to 31/2 hours at 350 degrees.

Add Carrots

Cook until done

Soak dry mushrooms in hot water for 20 minutes. Then add to roast.

Remove from oven. Let cool.

Serve Pot Roast and pour sauce over the pasta of your choice.
